Visionary Round Table

Description

Chamber "Visionary Tier" members are invited to participate in a special Strathroy-Caradoc Business Round Table: Challenges, Opportunities & Solutions, bringing together a select group of Visionary Members representing a variety of business sectors, along with Strathroy-Caradoc Mayor Grantham, Middlesex County Warden Sue Clarke, MPP Steve Pinsonneault and MP Lianne Rood.

November 20 @ 1pm
MP Rood Constituency Office, 65 Front Street West, Strathroy

Why we are holding this round table

We want to create an opportunity for local business owners to have a direct, candid conversation with our elected representatives about the realities of doing business in the region.

This is not intended to be a formal presentation or political forum. It is a business-led conversation focused on understanding the challenges we are experiencing, identifying opportunities and discussing what we can do together.

The discussion will be organized around three questions:

1. What's affecting business today?

What are you experiencing in your business? What is making it more difficult to operate, hire, invest or grow?

2. How do we enable growth?

What would help existing businesses expand and what would make the region more attractive to new businesses and investment?

3. What can we do together?

What practical actions could businesses, the Chamber and our municipal, provincial and federal representatives take to address the issues we identify?

The Chamber will capture the key themes and potential action items from the discussion so that the conversation can continue beyond the meeting.

We hope you will be able to join us and contribute your voice to this important conversation.

Please confirm your participation by November 13. At this time, there is one (1) seat available per membership organization, limited to Visionary Tier members.

Thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and our local business community.
